Tino X. Do

Tino Do is an associate in the San Francisco office of Barger & Wolen LLP.  Mr. Do represents domestic and foreign entities in a broad range of commercial litigation matters, with a focus on advising insurers and reinsurers in the efficient resolution of contractual and non-contractual disputes.  He has handled all major aspects of litigation, arbitration and mediation to conclusion.

Mr. Do’s litigation experience includes:

• Represented reinsurance client in arbitration and court for disputes with managing general agent and other reinsurers arising out of historical casualty pool.
• Achieved grant of summary judgment on behalf of insurance company client against claim of contractual indemnification obligation.
• Awarded defense verdict on behalf of workers’ compensation insurance client against unfair business practices and equitable claims.
• Successfully resolved breach of fiduciary duty claims under ERISA against investment asset manager client.
• Defended class action against contractual and unfair business practices claims for national car rental client.
• Represented realtor client in dispute arising out of sale of multi-million dollar property.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Do had extensive experience in the resolution of property and casualty claims for State Farm Insurance and Safeco Insurance.
